The Role of Transformers

Electromagnetic oven is an electric cooking utensil based on the principle of electromagnetic induction heating. It is composed of high frequency induction heating coil (excitation coil), high frequency power conversion device, controller and ferromagnetic cooker.

A high frequency transformer is composed of the inner heating coil disc of the pot and the electromagnetic furnace. The inner coil is the primary transformer and the secondary one is the pot. When the internal primary heating coil disc has alternating voltage output, the induction current will inevitably be generated on the secondary cooker body. The induction current will heat through the resistance of the cooker body itself (so the cooker itself is also a load) to generate heat.
